Aluminum foil is one of the most commonly used materials for coating lightweight steel roofs, because of its ability to reflect heat effectively.
Aluminum Foil can reject / reduce heat radiation up to 97%. On a sunny day, the temperature in the room or house is usually warmer, due to the transfer of heat radiation at the top of the roof. Aluminum installed under the roof can reflect back the solar radiation, so the indoor temperature can be cooler.
This product can also function as a water barrier when the roof leaks, because it is installed at the bottom of the roof.
There are 2 (two) types of this product, Single Side and Double Side. Single Side coating which is only one side and double side, double-sided aluminum coating. Aluminum double side is more effective in retaining heat and aesthetically more beautiful even though the price is slightly more expensive.
